It's almost done... Patience is the fourth Fruit of the Spirit. Gal.5: 22-23
I left PI last July 2009 to work in Saudi (the land of dust hahaha), not too happy, yet not too sad. At first it's not easy (you'll get through some adjustments)

I left PI last July 2009 to work in Saudi (the land of dust hahaha), not too happy, yet not too sad. At first it's not easy (you'll get through some adjustments)
- time zone.. <my heart is so jetlagged> =/
- language.. not all patient can understand english.. the first arabic word i learned is "aiwa" which means "yes" (lol)..
- uniform and outfit when we go out..
- food..
- weather.. super hot during summer.
The idea of missing home isn't a good one (i won't deny, i cried hahaha), but hearing my family's voice on the line lessen those homesick attack. By the way I'm not alone when I got here, I'm with my friend so it's not that "lonesome".
Yes, I enjoyed my stay here, aside from the ups and downs. Thank God, He's with me all the time. I've read an illustration about how God strengthens us during trials. It went like this: “Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks? The eagle will fly to high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it. The eagle does not escape the storm; it simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm. When the storms of life come upon us, we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us; we can allow God's power to lift us above them. God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure, and disappointment into our lives. We can soar above the storm. Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.” The Bible said "I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me" Phils 4:13
Spent 2 Christmas', 2 New Years and 2 Birthdays away from home but now I'm just counting the days 'til I get home. Patience is not only waiting, but keeping a good attitude while you wait. (good attitude hahaha)
Stayed in Tabuk for more than 2 yrs (nagawa ko pa mag-extend)I will surely miss this place, and the people I met here. The bottom line is that it doesn't really matter the time but the moments and memories we've shared.
